Paper and Poly Shapes

Styrofoam / Polystyrene Shapes and Balls are a soft lightweight foam that can be pinned painted, glued or used as a form for paper mache or modelling paste.

Cotton / Compressed Paper Balls have a soft feel and can be cut with a sharp craft knife, and painted with an acrylic paint. Each ball has a hole in one end, this is as a result of the manufacturing process.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. When applying glue or paints to Styrofoam or polystyrene shapes, always use a water based paint such as Anitas Acrylics. It is recommended that a primer coat be applied to the Styrofoam before painting. Mix a PVA adhesive with an equal part of water and paint over the surface. Once dry this will prevent the paint being absorbed. NEVER use a solvent based glue as this will eat the foam. Use a PVA glue.
